Finland

This is a collaborative photography project created in Mänttä, Finland. I worked with the Finnish Red Cross to document the lives of three asylum seekers, as they move from a facility in Ruovesi —from which they were largely evicted— to Mänttä (25 miles east of Ruovesi). The project chronicled the asylum seekers’ original and subsequent living quarters, and focused on three Afghan immigrants who fled the Taliban to settle in Finland.
