Prisoners in Finland have the right to use a sauna at least once a week and therefore, each prison must be equipped with a working sauna. With the cooperation of the Finnish Criminal Sanction Agency (Rikosseuraamuslaitos), I have photographed the saunas in eight prisons around Finland from Ylitornio to Hämeenlinna.
